Where it all started for this very accomplished scribe. One of my favorite authors. Had the privilege of meeting her a few years back at the Savannah Book Festival. It was a great speech by one of the best in the business. Her son (also an author)
spoke that year as well. Interestingly, the website "I write like" said yours truly, your humble narrator, writes like the Grand Dame herself. If only I could be that lucky.
